Beth manages the firm’s operations, focusing on accounting and finance as well as human resources.
She holds a Business Technology Diploma (Accounting) from the New Brunswick Community College (1993). She also holds a Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of New Brunswick, which she received in 2007. She received her Registered Public Accountants Associations (RPA) designation in 2004.
In 1993, Beth began working for a Moncton-based accounting firm as an Accounting Technologist, where she performed financial audits and prepared adjustments to produce financial statements for small and medium-sized businesses.
From 1993 – 2004, Beth worked at a mid-sized engineering firm as Manager of Finance, Administration and Human Resources. In that role, she was responsible for managing and administrating financial and personnel activities, accounting, performance management, invoicing, purchasing, cash receipts and disbursements, financial reports, payroll, and employee benefits. She also acted as the main liaison for staff in all employee-related issues. During her tenure, she helped grow the organization from an eight-member firm to including more than 45 staff.
In 2004, Beth joined a large multinational petroleum and chemical manufacturing corporation as a Senior Credit Analyst (U.S. operations). In this position, she assisted in managing bad debt and bankruptcy litigation as well as collections activities in the United States. Over the next 11 years, Beth held various positions with the company, including Project Manager wherein she assisted with implementing the corporation’s global operating system.
