Alisha Rice is an associate at Gorham Vandebeek LLP. She is dedicated and committed to protecting the rights of her clients and fighting for justice. She represents clients with a variety of charges.

Alisha graduated with distinction from the Honours Criminology program at Toronto Metropolitan University (then Ryerson University) where she conducted a study to assess and analyze the effects of incarceration. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree and a Dispute Resolution and Professionalism certificate from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. While pursuing her education, Alisha volunteered and acted as a member of the Youth Advisory Committee at Kids with Incarcerated Parents Canada, where she mentored, supported, and created new initiatives for children who are affected by familial incarceration.

Prior to joining our firm, Alisha articled and summered at prominent criminal defence firms in Toronto, where she gained experience in providing effective representation while navigating complexed legal issues.

Being raised in Montreal, Quebec, Alisha is fluent in English and French.

Alisha was called to the Ontario bar in 2024, and she is also a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association.
