Kimia is an Associate at Gorham Vandebeek LLP.

She routinely appears at the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, representing individuals charged with a wide range of criminal offences, including sexual assault, domestic violence, impaired driving, and drugs and firearms offences.

Her practice focuses on complex criminal litigation, with a particular interest in the intersection of criminal law, mental health, and social welfare issues. She provides strategic and effective representation, guiding clients through every stage of the criminal process with clarity and confidence.

Kimia was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025. She completed her articles at Gorham Vandebeek LLP before joining the firm as an associate.

Kimia holds dual Canadian and American Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to law school, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto.

Prior to entering practice, she was a finalist in the Patrick A. Keenan Moot Court Competition and gained appellate experience through the Wayne County Conviction Integrity Unit, where she reviewed claims of wrongful conviction and assisted with post-conviction litigation.
