Mya Westhaver is an articling student at Gorham Vandebeek in Toronto, Ontario. She earned her law degree from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law in 2024. Before attending law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. During law school, Mya completed a shadowing project with Pro Bono Students Canada with New Brunswick Legal Aid and participated with the Prison Law Society at the University of New Brunswick. Mýa is passionate about criminal law and dedicated to growing and learning in her legal career. Upon completion of her articles, she will be called to the Ontario Bar.
